CPCO Privacy Statement
CPCO is committed to protecting the personal information and privacy of its Associates and Users. This
statement provides a detailed summary of the practices and procedures CPCO adheres to when
providing internet website access to its Associates. CPCO is governed by the Personal Information
Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Website Collection of Information
CPCO’s external and internal websites, Clowder mobile application, and its affiliates do not collect any
personal identifiers from Associates who peruse or utilize its websites unless voluntarily provided (i.e.
completion of a web form, survey, registration etc.). CPCO and its third-party vendors do not collect the
following information from its users: type of browser accessing the CPCO website, Windows version
being utilized by the user, and previously accessed websites.
CPCO through its website host solely collects information related to activities a user actions when
accessing the CPCO website, i.e., cookies in an online shopping cart and when a cookie warning message
is displayed. A cookie is a file which is placed on a user’s computer hard drive or phone memory
temporarily when a website is ac No other information is collected by CPCO and its affiliates unless
express consent or voluntary information is provided.
When personal information is collected on a voluntary basis, the types of information that may be
requested for purposes of registration for email server lists, CPCO events, and membership registration
includes but is not limited to: email address, name, contact information and employment information,
payment information. This information is collected for the purposes of CPCO operations to provide
Associate services.
