Please note: CPCO AQ courses will continue to be offered as scheduled, transitioning face-to-face sessions to virtual platforms such as Zoom, Google Meets and/or Microsoft Teams and synchronous learning as required locally. When and if required, courses will transition to alternate scheduled dates decided collaboratively by instructors and candidates.

SUBSIDY OPPORTUNITY NOW AVAILABLE: CPCO, together with OPC and ADFO, and in partnership with the Ministry of Education, is offering a limited number of subsidies for eligible candidates for this AQ program.  Click here for details.

CPCO's Special Education for Administrators AQ is developed and delivered by CPCO Associates (Practising or Non-Practising).

Catholic Principals' Council of Ontario is committed to offering a course that is:

  • Reflective of our Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations (OCSGE), the Ontario Catholic Leadership Framework (OCLF), and Catholic Social Teachings

The Special Education for Administrators AQ is available for school administrators and teachers with a desire to extend knowledge, skills, attitudes and practices with design, implementation and assessment in special education through a Catholic leader's lens.

Candidates enhance their knowledge while completing Four Modules rooted in the domains of the Ontario Catholic Leadership Framework (OCLF) within the context of Catholic Gospel Values.

While engaging in online and in-class instructional time as well as a job-embedded professional inquiry practicum, connections will be evident between ethical practices, Catholic Gospel Values, the Ontario Catholic Schools Graduate Expectations and the OCLF.
